The Mendip Male Voice Choir is about to start a series of five festive concerts leading up to their Annual Christmas Concert at St John’s Church, Midsomer Norton on Monday 19th December at 19.30.

This year’s do will feature guest soloist cellist Anna Galloway.

The choir has around sixty members, performs around twelve concerts a year and rehearses most Mondays at St John’s School, Timsbury from 19.30-21.30pm.

Singing is a great hobby and good for you in many ways’, said Richard Luscombe the Choir’s New Chairman. ‘We have a good time and new members are always welcome’.

“There is no audition to join the Choir, no need to be able to read music and the first term is free”, explained the choir’s Musical Director Jamie Knights.
