Architectural terraces have been transformed from sloping land with a profusion of plants capitalising on the views of Wells Cathedral and the Vale of Avalon. A Grade II terraced garden was restored to its former glory by the current owner’s parents who moved here in 1960. The orchard was replaced with a collection of ornamental trees. Herbaceous borders and blooming roses, including Gertrude Jekyll who flourishes next to well tended lawns. There is a serene, relaxing atmosphere within the garden following the ravages of two World Wars.
