9 Catherston Close is open jointly with a new garden to the National Garden Scheme, 84 Weymouth Road. 9 Catherston Close is open from 12 noon to 5 p.m. and 84

Weymouth Road opens at

1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Catherston Close is a town garden which has grown over the years to ? acre! There are colour-themed shrub and herbaceous borders, a pond, down to a wild meadow area leading to wonderful far reaching views, along with productive vegetable plots, as well as a fruit garden. An exhibition of photography by the garden owner of the

seasons in his garden is displayed in the summerhouse.

84 Weymouth Road is new this year to the National Garden Scheme and a total contrast to 9 Catherston Close with a new garden artistically designed and planted in 2016 by Simon Relph to celebrate his life. An architectural design of metal arches and geometrical raised beds surround a raised pond in the centre of the back garden, alongside other unique features. Carefully chosen shrubs surround the walled garden, together with ferns, roses and camellias, outlining a central courtyard. Both gardens have disabled access. No dogs in the gardens, please.
