A North Somerset drinking establishment has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Backwell Village Club, a pub, bar or nightclub at 12 Backwell Hill Road, Backwell, Bristol North Somerset was given the score after assessment on October 2, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of North Somerset's 199 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 140 (70%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
