The u3a Group are now looking forward to the Jubilee Afternoon Tea on the 13th June at the Somer Centre from 2 pm. This event is now sold out but those who have not booked can check on any last-minute cancellations by contacting the event organiser Margaret Burdon on: 01761 437185. The group will be entertained by the popular u3a Guitar Group and the Uke Group during the afternoon.

The u3a Guitar group will again be in action performing at a Charity Concert on 18th June at Chilcompton Village Hall from 2.30 pm. Tickets costing £6 (Children £3) with the proceeds being donated to the Ukraine Appeal can be obtained at the u3a Afternoon Tea or phoning: 01761 232785.

Following on from the Afternoon Tea on Wednesday, 15th May a group will travel to Hampshire to visit the world famous Mottisfont Gardens where there is a fantastic display of roses to be enjoyed. Further on, the group will make their usual trip to Bath Races on 31st August for the afternoon races.

Norton Radstock u3a were pleased to join the Mental Health Matters Information Session held on Saturday, 14th May at Peasedown St John intended principally for people wishing to find out more about services and including those who, for any reason, had been affected by Covid. The event was organised by the WI and attended by both statutory and voluntary services.

The u3a will be reintroducing the Members Monthly Bulletin at meetings which will contain all notices.
