Despite uncertain times ahead for our libraries, Paulton Library volunteers have plenty to be cheerful about.
Because of their involvement, Paulton has one of the longest library opening times in B&NES. It also has an amazing lady called Kathleen Still, who runs the rota that organises the volunteers and who was honoured by councillors and library staff recently.
Liz Hardman, B&NES Councillor for Paulton, said: “We are so grateful to this wonderful team of volunteers, who together with the professional librarians, keep the library open almost six days a week.
“A final big thank you to Kathleen Still (pictured at the back of the group, centre), who was presented with a basket of flowers from the volunteers.”
