RESIDENTS of Paulton celebrated major success for their gardening efforts at the Bath in Bloom Awards, held at Hayesfield School in Bath.

Among the winners were Pride in Paulton (PiP), who took gold and were category winners for ‘Horticultural Achievement by a Group’ for the second year running, and Mike Colliver, who won gold and category winner for his allotment.

Dawn Colliver also won gold and was category winner for her front garden floral display, while Paulton Junior School took gold for their school garden, and Greg and Vicky of The Lamb Inn received Silver Gilt.

The awards were presented by Liz Hardman, chairperson of Bath and North East Somerset and a Paulton resident herself, who praised the community’s dedication and creativity in gardening while congratulating all the winners on their achievements.

Bath in Bloom is a community horticultural initiative in the Bath area that encourages residents, schools, businesses, and local groups to enhance their surroundings through gardening and floral displays.
