Local artist, Peter Kirkland, is currently exhibiting his paintings of Radstock scenes at the SWALLOW Community Café in Church Street, Radstock. The paintings are in watercolour and acrylic and prints of the works are also available at very reasonable prices. All proceeds from sales will go to SWALLOW Charity.
SWALLOW is led by its members, teenagers and adults with learning disabilities, and responds to individual needs by providing flexible support, including work skills and experience.
Peter is showing many familiar scenes, including the former subway, the pit wheel and Wells Hill. He has previously exhibited with the Old Bakery Artists and other groups.
The exhibition is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and will continue until early July.
