Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 8pm June 13 to 4am June 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bathampton to Bath Road Rbt - temporary traffic signals for drainage works.

A36, from 9am June 13 to 3pm June 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bathampton to Beckington - Stop and Go signs in place for drainage works.

A36, from 3.01pm February 18 to 6am June 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Limpley Stoke two-way traffic signals for Geotechnical works.

And one more closure will begin over the next seven days:

A4, from 10pm July 1 to 6am July 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): Aa both directions London Road lane closures for horticultural works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
