Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 11.30am February 20 to 11.59pm February 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A36 Bathampton multiway traffic lights in place for emergency National Grid works.

A36, from midnight, December 19 2022 to 11pm November 23 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bath to Warminster used by GWR Railway Replacement Buses on Bristol Temple Meads - Frome route.

And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:

A36, from 9am February 27 to 3pm March 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Brassknocker Hill to Limpley Stoke - 24hr two-way signals for inspection/surveys.

A36, from 9am to 3pm on March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Claverton traffic signals for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
