Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 6am March 1 to 6am September 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both direction Limpley Stoke, two-way traffic lights for carriageway works.

And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:

A4, from 9pm June 6 to 6am June 7, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A4 southbound, London Road to Box roundabout carriageway closure for general maintenance, diversion via Cold Ashton, A420, east to Chippenham, A350 south to A4, Non-HGV via London Rd West and East.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
