Drivers in and around Mendip will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

Mendip road closures: one for motorists to avoid over the next fortnightBut the news isn't too bad, with both of them only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A36, from 9am November 20 2024 to 4pm January 31 2025, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 both directions Beckington to Woolverton, two-way traffic lights for Structural works.
• A36, from 9pm August 11 2024 to 6am March 1 2025, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 northbound, on approach to Beckington Rbt, lane closure to facilitate with upstream full closure of the A36.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
