It held a show for the continental breeds of beef cattle, the British Limousin, which saw the breed champion and reserve came from H G Perkins of Radstock, his heifer Calogale Umbria was champion and Hollowdene Ulay standing in reserve.
He also won female champion and reserve, best maiden heifer, best exhibitor bred British Limousin, all of which follows his success earlier in the spring.
The champion and reserve for the section for Any Other Dual Purpose breeds was won by Andrew Tanner from Winford with his Sheeted Somerset Tanglenold Iris and Tanglenold Jojo both maiden heifers.
This is a breed which has been genetically researched in great detail by Andrew Tanner to re-introduce this extinct beed.

On the art theme, floral art is hotly contested at the show and this year the best in show exhibit was a pedestal in the ‘Inspired by Colour’ class entered by Coral Gardiner of Tunley.
The president for this year is Robert Drewett, from Bishop Sutton, who was a past chairman of show. He said of his experience as president, it is different and fascinating.
He feels he should apologise to the presidents he asked to go to so many sections on each of the show days, it is so very busy and fascinating to see so much of the show without responsibility.
Chris Beeching from Chewton Mendip was part of one of the closing displays - a pageant of steam and vintage vehicles - where he brought his Marshall traction engine of 1905 for the show and was helped by his granddaughter Amelia.
