THE Animal Guyz return to Frome’s Merlin Theatre with a spectacular show featuring life-sized animal puppets, comedy and music.
The show The Animal Guyz: Amazing Animals will be performed at Frome’s Merlin Theatre on Sunday, February 8 2026.
The performance features life-sized animal puppets, including crocodiles, sloths, reindeer, penguins and orangutans, as well as a spraying skunk, all without the use of real animals.
Suitable for all ages, from toddlers to adults, the show includes music, comedy and special effects. There will be a morning and an afternoon performance, allowing families to choose a time that best suits them.
Craig, the original creator and Animal Guy performer, said: “We’re thrilled to be coming back to Frome and we hope lots of children find tickets under the Christmas tree because it’s a wonderful thing to look forward to and every ticket bought helps animals in need.”
Their shows are designed to be both fun and engaging, combining entertainment with education about animals. Through a mix of comedy, music, and audience participation, they aim to teach children and adults about wildlife and animal behaviour in an interactive way. Over the years, The Animal Guyz have performed at a variety of venues, from theatres and schools to outdoor festivals, and have made appearances on television programmes such as Coronation Street and This Morning.
Jade Preddy, of Orange Juice Events, said: “ We have been inundated with messages asking when The Animal Guyz are returning since their last visit, so we are delighted to have them back. My children have not stopped talking about this awe-inspiring show since they saw them last year.”
Shows are available at 11am and 2pm, and the box office can be contacted regarding any accessibility requirements. More information is available at merlintheatre.co.uk
