THE Frome annual town meeting in April will celebrate the community and the contribution of local people to its life.

Mayor of Frome Cllr Anita Collier will use the event to look back on her mayoral year in office.

She said: “It has been an extremely busy year and I have enjoyed every minute!

“It’s bittersweet. I’m sad it’s coming to an end soon, but looking forward to a slightly quieter diary after May.

“I am looking forward to reflecting on all of it, and saying thank you to some of the people who make Frome such a fantastic town with a civic award.”

The meeting takes place on Wednesday, April 1, from 7 pm to 9 pm in Frome Town Hall.

Everybody is welcome, with refreshments provided.
