This Saturday, 27th March, Sam Ross will be running to raise money for The Trussell Trust in their 5K ‘Race Against Hunger’, as no one should be forced to turn to a charity because they can’t afford food.
Through their policy work and by supporting foodbanks to deliver services that can help people address the crises they’re facing, The Trussell Trust know that change is possible. As the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic continues to unfold, it is more important than ever that action is taken to create a system that works for everyone and work to build a hunger free future.
Sam says: “I wouldn’t consider myself a natural runner and getting through a 5K is definitely a case of mind over matter, so if anyone would like to spur me on and support this worthy cause, please visit my sponsorship page: https://trusselltrust.enthuse.com/pf/sam-ross-d2ddc”
