Once again, the Radstock and Midsomer Norton Lions Carol Float is touring the area for the Christmas period. We will be starting on 1st December and will be finishing at Tesco on Christmas Eve. Father Christmas will be in his rightful place with carols and Christmas music on the decorated, illuminated float, giving sweets to the children in the area.
This year’s route is as follows: Thursday, 1st and Friday, 2nd December, Paulton.
• Saturday, 3rd December, Midsomer Norton High Street, next to Farmer’s Market.
• Monday, 5th and Tuesday, 6th December, High Littleton.
• Wednesday, 7th, Thursday, 8th and Friday, 9th December, Peasedown St John, New Estate.
• Saturday, 10th, Midsomer Norton, High Street, outside Martin’s.
• Monday, 12th December, Midsomer Norton, High
Meadows and Underhill.
• Tuesday, 13th December, Farrington Gurney, Hallatrow and High Littleton.
• Wednesday, 14th and Thursday, 15th December, Midsomer Norton, Welton.
• Friday, 16th December, Writhlington.
• Saturday, 17th December, Farm Shop, Farrington Gurney.
• Monday, 19th and Tuesday, 20th December, Timsbury.
• Wednesday, 21st and Thursday, 22nd December, Midsomer Norton, Withies Park and Staddlestones.
• Friday, 23rd and Saturday, 24th December, Tesco,
Midsomer Norton.
The float will operate from 6.15 p.m. until 8.30 p.m. in the evenings, but at Farrington’s Farm Shop, Midsomer Norton High Street and Tesco, Father Christmas will be found during the day. This year’s proceeds will be donated to local and
