Neighbourhood Police Team bike marking and community safety event took place in Marksbury to encourage residents to mark their property.

In this recent event, representatives from the community safety team and the NBT were able to give advice to homeowners about securing their property and to encourage residents to security mark their bikes: www.bikeregister.com.

PCSO Rob Hendra, said: “We cannot stress enough how vitally important it is that all our communities security mark their property. It is easy, very inexpensive and often free.”

By taking this simple step, residents stand more of a chance of having their property returned and is used by insurance companies to assist you in any claim.

Bike owners can also use the bike register app to check on bikes if they are considering buying second hand as vital information will be available to ensure safe purchasing.
