Silver Street Local Nature Reserve are thrilled to receive our seventh ‘Outstanding’ Award from It’s Your Neighbourhood RHS In Bloom.

Our volunteers work very hard and it is always gratifying to know we are appreciated from the glowing report from our assessor, Susan Acton Campbell, who visited the site in July.

Our workdays have been spent sweeping leaves for several weeks – the rain has not helped, when on two occasions we had to cancel. We get many expressions of thanks from passers by when we are working, and know that what we do is noticed and appreciated.
