The Musketeers netball team played this week’s game against Thorns on Saturday, 23th November.

The game started well, as both teams were scoring goals one after the other. Thorns started to edge ahead, taking the lead and ending the first quarter, 6–22.

In the second quarter Thorns increased their lead, finishing at 10–45.

For the third quarter, we made some changes to our mid-court positions, but Thorns continued to lead, 14–58. However, our defence managed to keep their score down.

The final fourth quarter was our best quarter; Musketeers had some great interceptions, passes and chases for the ball with the game ending 23–73 to Thorns. The Players’ Player was Dawn Heal and Mia Goodwin and Thorns’ Player of the Match was Musketeers’ Mia Goodwin.
