A THIRD community collection for the people of Ukraine will take place at St John’s Church Hall, Midsomer Norton, on Saturday, November 15 from 10am to 12 noon.

Organisers say the appeal is just as urgently needed as the first two collections, with donations once again being sent to support those affected by the ongoing conflict.

Items requested include men’s, women’s, children’s, and baby clothes, along with shoes, hats, bedding, toys, and candles. Residents are encouraged to give what they can to help families in need as winter approaches.

Volunteers will be on hand to receive donations, and all contributions will be carefully sorted before being sent to trusted relief organisations.
