PROFESSIONALS from local organisations joined children at Westfield Primary School sharing information on their careers and experiences during an interactive Futures’ Week.

Representatives from Avon & Somerset Police, the NHS, MCMS Engineering, Langford Vets, and talented gardeners attended the school offering hands-on activities and interactive displays to inspire the pupils.

The school dedicated a whole week solely to raising aspirations and broadening children's ambitions with classroom talks and educational visits.

Thanking participants headteacher Simon Rills said: “Your enthusiasm, expertise and generosity have inspired hundreds of children, and the impact of your support will last long after the week has ended.

“We believe every child deserves the chance to dream big, discover new possibilities and realise that with hard work, determination and resilience, they really can achieve anything.”
