ONE of the main reasons people from outside the area want to buy properties and live in the Chew Valley is to be able to share and enjoy our lifestyle, such as our lovely summer shows and village fetes.

Wouldn’t it be great to capture their sights, sounds and smells in a bottle and call it “Eau de Chew Valley”, so we could have a sniff in the cold winter months and remind ourselves of sunny afternoons.

All my team love getting out to support these events, whether that’s Compton Martin, Clutton, Stanton Drew or Chew Stoke. They are all very well attended and we have the chance to chat to lots of people. A good number are often our clients, who had either bought or sold through us, or who are currently buying or selling a property.

It’s also an opportunity for people who are thinking of possibly selling their home at some point in the future to have an informal conversation about what’s involved. We are always pleased to have a chance to talk about the Dedication, Imagination and Delivery that underpins our top class service, which has made us the top performing estate agent in the Chew Valley.

But we are not just at the shows to talk business. We are happy to chat about anything under the sun, whilst doing our bit to help raise money for local good causes. For example, at Clutton, we were helping The Cabin, a play group that provides an important facility for young children and their parents.

We pride ourselves on being totally immersed in the community of the Chew Valley and we are delighted to support the hard working volunteers who keep our village shows running and ensure our traditions will live on for many years to come.
