Midsomer Norton Short Mat Bowls Club held their Presentation Dinner on Saturday, 17th February at the Old Down Inn, Emborough.
Trophies were presented by the Chairman, Peter Barter, and were awarded as follows:
Men’s Singles Winner – Roger Gill; Runner-up – Ray Horwood.
Ladies’ Singles Winner – Elaine Bull; Runner-up – Ann Hancock.
Mixed Pairs Winners – Janet Coombes and Tim Parry; Runners-up – Roy Hancock and Brian Bull.
Mixed Triples Winners – Pearl Pritchard, Mel Bowen and Roger Gill; Runners-up – Joy Bowen, Janet Coombes and Ray Horwood.
The meal was followed by a raffle and a general knowledge quiz. The Club meet every Tuesday and Friday,
2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. New members are always welcome, so come along and have a go.
