On 13th March, 37 members enjoyed an evening of skittles at Mardon’s Social Club.
After the first leg, a fish and chips supper was delivered by Whitstone’s. Two more legs were played and prizes for the highest scoring male and female were presented by President, Clive. Men’s winner was Ray Soby, with 28 and lady’s winner was yours truly, with 25. Thanks were given to Clive and Keith for organising this very enjoyable evening.
A quick reminder of the Spring meeting on 27th March starting at 7 p.m. Associate membership eligibility to be discussed and also an amendment to the Constitution. Fixture cards will also be available on this evening. Please make every effort to attend.
Don’t forget film night on 3rd April – more names needed to make it worth all Roger’s hard work.
Lastly, anyone wanting to have a go at bowls, the club will be open on 10th, 11th and 12th April at 6 p.m., where tuition will be available. Bowls and shoes will be provided for these evenings. Come along and have a go.
