This week it’s short and sweet, a bit like the Subs evening, which was cut short when more of the white stuff fell and saw everyone scurrying home.
I know it’s early days, but as of yet, I haven’t had one complaint about this year’s fixture list! Could it be that I’ve actually got it all right? Only time will tell, but I’m sure the magnifying glasses will be out scanning for any errors.
And now for a personal note: I would like to thank everyone, and not just Norwesters, for all the cards, flowers and good wishes which I received following my recent hip op. It went fairly well, although I did get to spend an extra night in, due to my haemoglobin going a bit awry, but I’m back in circulation now and raring to go.
Hopefully we’ve had all the snow we’re going to get, and Spring is just around the corner, ready for the start of the Bowls season.
