With the green tucked up for its winter hibernation, all the action is indoors at Norwest now.

We have three skittle teams who play in the Paulton and District Skittles League, and, of course, there is our Friday night Fish and Chip League. The Roughedges, the Chilli Crew and Norwest Ten – who call Norwest their home alley – are having varying degrees of success this year, and with almost half the season gone, we wish them luck in the second half of the season.

Our Fish and Chip League is purely for fun, and we thank Keith and Dennis for running it and are looking forward already to the Fish and Chips supper with which we end the season. I’d also like to thank our team of bar staff who keep up the spirits of all the skittlers, and I’m sure this helps the pins to fall.

It seems incredible, but it’s just over fourteen weeks until we don our sun hats, gather up our buckets and spades and climb aboard our charabanc for this year’s tour. This year, we are going to Eastbourne, and we’ll be setting off on 29th April for a fun-packed week, so you’d better start saving your pennies, because Mary will be after your money soon!
