Our main story of the week is contributed by our Men’s section – what an extremely successful weekend they had!
Saturday saw them convincingly win 12-0 against Keynsham in their County League home fixture. They continued their winning streak at home with a prestigious victory on Sunday – this time against Bath Men in a round of the National Club Two Fours competition! Well played, all of you – we are very proud of you.
It was mixed fortunes for our Ladies, who drew their League game against Frome Selwood after gaining just a few of the points on offer with Shepton Mallet earlier on in the week. They lost out in Saturday’s visit to Bath Ladies in the Southey Cup. A friendly Golden Oldies mixed game against our good friends at Norwest was very enjoyable, as always, with a mixture of rink results. So, you win some, you lose some!
