After a slow start due to matches being rained off and opposition teams being unable to find enough players, our Ladies came up trumps in the Wild League, picking up ten points against Castle Cary; another ten points at Norwest and a further four at Wells, but came unstuck against Street.
Our Men’s teams are going great guns, gaining twelve points against Bloomfield and ten at Frome Park in the County League. In the Mid-Somerset League, twelve points at Chew Stoke and fifteen against Norwest.
Dave Beard is also through to the next round of the County Singles.
Our Mixed matches are not going so well, but we have a good time renewing acquaintances with players from previous seasons.
