Prattens’ Ladies played Castle Cary in the Wild League on Thursday last week, winning on one rink but losing on two – overall, Prattens gained two League points from this game.
In a Mixed Mid-Somerset League game against Frome Selwood on Friday, Prattens lost on two out of three rinks, but the match was all square on shot difference after two rinks had completed their 21 ends, the overall result therefore depended on the last rink where Prattens were winning. On the last end, Prattens took the shot, which meant that they won the game overall, 61 shots to 60 and gained eight League points.
A friendly game against Shepton Mallet took place on Sunday. Prattens won on two rinks and lost on two, but won overall, 77 shots to 67.
In the coming week, Prattens’ Ladies play Weston (Bath), in a friendly and Wyrral Park (Glastonbury) in the Wild League. Prattens’ Men play Keynsham C and there are Mixed Friendly games against Sydney Gardens (Bath) and Winscombe.
