In a friendly game against Weston (Bath), Prattens’ ladies won on one rink and lost on two, but won overall.
Wyrall Park were the visitors for a Wild League game; Prattens won on one rink, drew on one and lost on one. Prattens lost overall by one shot and so gained three League points from this game.
Sydney Gardens (Bath) were the visitors on Wednesday evening where, in a mixed friendly game, Prattens won on two rinks and lost on two, but won overall 54 shots to 39. In another mixed friendly on Sunday afternoon, Prattens travelled to Winscombe; Prattens won on one rink, drew on one and lost on two, they also lost overall 52 shots to 79.
In the coming week, Prattens’ ladies have two Wild League games against Street and Frome Park and on Sunday, they play Frome Park again in the Quarter Finals of the Southey Trophy.
Club nights continue on Mondays at 6 p.m All are welcome to come along and try the game of bowls, just wear flat shoes. Bowls can be borrowed and coaching is available free of charge.
