Prattens’ Ladies played at Frome Park in the Wild League this week, but they lost on all three rinks and overall by 42 shots to 57.
In the Top Club competition, Prattens’ Men were away to Knowle A; Prattens won the singles discipline but lost the other four disciplines. In the Mid-Somerset League, away to Frome Selwood, Prattens won on one rink, skipper Barrie Dando, but lost on the other three rinks, which gained Prattens two League points.
A Mixed Mid-Somerset League game at Wyrall Park (Glastonbury) ended in defeat for Prattens.
In the coming week, Prattens’ Ladies have Wild League games away to Street and home to Frome Selwood. They also play the first round of the Top Club competition, away to Bath Ladies Bowling Club. Prattens’ Men are away to Purnell in the Mid-Somerset League, playing the first round of the National two-fours competition at home to Keynsham. There is also a Mixed Mid-Somerset League game at home to Street. This week also sees the first round of our Club pairs competition.
