In a very close game away to Street, Prattens’ Ladies won on one rink by 24 shots to twelve (Skipper, Liz Durnford), but lost on the other two, losing overall by 45 shots to 46, gaining two League points.

In the game at Home to Frome Selwood, Prattens’ Ladies won on all three rinks, with the highest winning rink being that of Pauline Dando; they gained all twelve League points. In the Top Club competition, away to Bath Ladies Bowling Club, Prattens’ Ladies won two of the four disciplines, as did Bath, and so the game was decided on shot difference. Prattens lost, 72 shots to 77.

Prattens’ Men were away to Purnells in the Mid-Somerset League, but unfortunately lost on all four rinks. In the National Two-Fours competition, Prattens’ Men were at Home to Keynsham, and won by eight shots. The first round of our club pairs competition was held in glorious sunshine. Everyone had a very enjoyable afternoon. The second round of the competition will be held on Sunday, 22nd July.

In the coming week, Prattens’ Men are at home to Paulton in the Mid-Somerset League and at home to Frome Selwood A in the Somerset County League.
