In a very close Wild League game at Shepton Mallet, Prattens Ladies lost overall by three shots and gained two league points by winning on one rink. Prattens men were at home to Knowle B in the Somerset County League. They won on one rink, lost on two and lost overall by 43 shots to 56, which gained them two League points.
In the first mixed friendly of the week, Prattens were at Paulton, where Prattens won on three rinks, lost on one and won overall by 80 shots to 59. In the second friendly of the week, Prattens were at Mark Moor, where Prattens won on four rinks, lost on one and won overall by 108 shots to 75.
Pauline Dando lost the next round of the Champion of Champions, but has progressed to the quarter-finals of the Secretary’s Cup.
In the coming week, Prattens Ladies have a Wild League game away to Castle Cary, and a friendly game at home to Keynsham. There are also two mixed friendly games at home to Weston Bath and Shepton Mallet.
