In the Wild League, at Home to Street, Prattens’ Ladies won on two rinks, lost on one and won overall by 54 shots to 49, which gained them ten League points.

At home to Frome Park in the Wild League, fortunes changed and Prattens Ladies could only manage a draw on one rink, gaining one League point.

Despite a good win on one rink and a close finish on another, Prattens’ Ladies lost the Semi-Final of the Fear Plate, to Long Ashton Ladies by eight shots. Nevertheless, a brilliant achievement to get that far in the competition, so well done to everyone involved.

Prattens’ Men recently played Norwest B in the Somerset County League, where they won on one rink, drew on one and lost on one, gaining three League points. In the first of this year’s Charity Cup Competition games, Prattens’ Men played Purnell at Norwest, where Prattens lost three rinks to two.

There was also a mixed-friendly game at home to Winscombe, which resulted in a draw after the game was ended at seventeen ends, due to the poor weather conditions.

In the coming week, Prattens’ Ladies are at home to Shepton Mallet in the Wild League; Prattens’ Men play a combined Frome Park/

Selwood team, away at Frome Selwood in the Charity Cup Competition, and have a Somerset County League game away against Bath B; there is a mixed friendly game at Home to Trowbridge Town.
