Prattens Bowls Club welcomed the Somerset Patrons to their green this week to celebrate their 90th anniversary.

The anniversary was actually last year but Covid prevented the game taking place, so it was rearranged for this season. After a very enjoyable match, a superb meal was served at Prattens Social Club by some of our ladies – Lin Brimble, Sue Smart, Sue Price and Margaret Dix – much to the delight of our visitors.

On Sunday our ladies went to Portishead to play in the Southey Trophy Semi-Final against ladies from Taunton Deane.

Unfortunately, our ladies did not win, but nonetheless enjoyed the experience and wish Taunton Dean good luck in the final.
