Prattens Bowls Club Ladies were Away to Keynsham in a Friendly.
Prattens won on one rink, lost on two and lost overall.
In the Finals of the Club competitions the results were as follows – Men’s singles winner: Gus Halfhide, runner-up: Richard Brimble. Ladies singles winner: Liz Durnford, runner-up: Margaret Harvey. Men’s Two-Wood winner: Richard Brimble, runner-up: Bernie Pearce. Ladies Two-Wood winner: Liz Durnford, runner-up: Pauline Dando. Handicap winner: Pauline Dando, runner-up: Betty Whittock. Keith Harrington Memorial Trophy winner: Colin Love, runner-up: Liz Durnford. 101 competition winner: Pauline Dando, runner-up: Gus Halfhide. Thomas Cup winner: John Price, runner-up: Allen Durnford; Mixed Pairs winners: Pauline Dando and Allen Durnford, runners-up: Chris Love and Brian Weeks. Triples competition winners: John Price, Betty Whittock and Ray Chivers, runners-up: Richard Brimble, Steve Garside and Shirley Garside.

In the coming week, Prattens’ Ladies have a Friendly away to Isle of Wedmore, and our season ends with Captains’ Day on Sunday, 16th
