Somer Valley Cycling Club (SVCC) is inviting any cyclist interested in brushing up their riding skills and techniques to a free coaching session at Odd Down Race Circuit on Saturday, 21st May from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

It is also an opportunity to meet the cycling club members and find out more about the rides they do.

The session is suitable for beginners, intermediate and more advanced riders (over the age of 14). Eugene Kertzman, a qualified and registered cycle coach with British Cycling, will lead the coaching with a focus on group riding skills, cornering and bike handling.

At the end of the session, there will be a fun all-ability race for those wishing to participate. Refreshments will be available from the on-site café for the duration of the event.

Eugene, a member of SVCC, comments: “This coaching session will offer a fun and relaxed opportunity for local cyclists to hone a range of cycle skills – free of charge. If you’ve never been to Odd Down, this is a chance to visit the track with friends or family and hopefully sharpen a few skills!”
