At least the Platinum Jubilee celebrations survived with only the final day slightly spoilt by persistent rain.

A fine turnout of seventy nine Senior golfers teed off the green tees for the first qualifying Stableford competition of the month.

Mike Rogers finished top of the heap with an excellent forty six points off a handicap of twenty two. His round contained nine pars and one birdie. Good Golfing Mike.
