Holmes turned provider to add a third shortly before the break to turn the ball to Billy Lowes to slip past Paulton keeper, George Burton.

Paulton grabbed a consolation with two minutes left as substitute, Nathan Legge, won the ball to drive past home keeper, Alan Walker-Harris.

Paulton Rovers will be holding a collection at this Saturday’s match against AFC Totton for fomer player, Jamie Mines, who is still recovering from serious injuries in an accident suffered before Christmas. The proceeds will be sent to the fund set up to support Jamie’s young family.
