Peasedown Athletic are now sporting new substitute suits, thanks to money made available through Councillor’s Initiative Funding.
Last Autumn, Councillor Karen Walker was approached by Peasedown Athletic with a request for her support in purchasing sports equipment through her ward councillor’s initiative fund. Agreeing, she submitted an application on their behalf, for the sum of £175.00.
B&NES was happy to support the request and funds were made available in February of this year.
On Saturday, 12th March Cllr Walker was invited to go along to meet the players and committee members and they were able to thank her for her support.
