In the Dimmock Green KO Cup, Belrose, who had not won a game in the First Division this season, had a surprise victory over Premier League opponents, Radstock A, 2–0.
Bottom of the Premier League, Welton Arsenal, won at Pilton, 3–2 and it was quite a game at Street, as home team Victoria just edged the game against Westhill Sports, 2–1, Jon Ball getting both goals and Rob Lydford replying for Westhill.
The Tony Baxter Shield saw Bath Villa continue their winning ways, beating local rivals, Old Crown, 4–0. A Tom Pelesz goal was enough to secure a victory against Frome Town Sports Reserves and the goals kept going in for Somer Valley. Their away win against Wessex, 4–2, was helped by goals from Ben Teall (2), Dean Haley and Clint Hartley and there were wins for Farrington, who scored six away to Westfield A. Westhill Sports Reserves won at home against Pensford Reserves, 3–1. Their scorers were Lee Howell, Mat Tout and Dean Bennett and Saltford won away to Mells Reserves, 6–1.
In the Premier League, Interhound stay top after conceding another five goals away to Frome Collegians after letting in six against the Frome team at home two weeks ago. The Norton side did reply with three goals this time round and stay top by one point from Collegians who have two games in hand and Coleford, who have three games in hand. Temple Cloud had a good home win against Mells, 5–3 and Wells A travelled to Purnell Reserves, winning 4–1.
Baltonsborough, in the First Division, kept their unbeaten run going, with a hard fought win against Clutton, 5–3. Chilcompton Reserves beat Meadow Rangers, 4–1.
Peasedown Albion’s Dan Hucker cracked in four goals, with Mark Gould and Scott Baker completing the scoring at home against Coleford Reserves, 6–0 in the Second Division.
