Peasedown Albion have progressed to another Final after a very tough game at Evercreech with a goal from Lee Smith. This now sends them into the Morland Cup Final against Somer Valley, who beat Mells Reserves 5–3. Amongst their goalscorers were Chris Lewis, Dean Haley, Martin Avis, Paul Dinsdale and Fran Moon. The game is due to be played at the Shepton Mallet ground on Friday, 5th May at 7.30 p.m.

In the Charity Cup, Chew Magna Reserves are through to the Semi-Final. Bath Villa’s good win on penalties against Frome Collegians puts them into the Quarter-Finals, and also through is Coleford, who beat Victoria on penalties and Baltonsborough, who beat Timsbury Reserves, 6–0.

Chew Magna Reserves are in the Final of the Clark Cup after beating Belrose at home, 2–0 and they now have to wait to see who their opponents will be.

In the Premier League, Frome Collegians have made the runners-up spot a two horse race, alongside Westfield Reserves, after their 4–2 home win against Radstock A. Coleford went to Welton Arsenal and won 5–0.

Victoria wrapped up the First Division Championship, beating Meadow, 6–1. Scorers were Dan Linham (2), Cam Sheperd, Joe Everard, Ben Lantz and James Thompson. The cup and medals were presented to the team by Chairman of the Mid-Somerset League, Bryn Hawkins.

In the Second Division, Bath Villa secured the runners-up place with their away win at Westhill Sports Reserves, 3-0. Saltford travelled to Coleford Reserves and won 1–0. Glastonbury Reserves recorded their second win of the season at home against Pensford Reserves, 6–3.

Peasedown Albion Reserves were crowned Third Division Champions, beating Old Crown 2–1, with Rico Sobers getting the winner in the last minute. Jack Hemmings scored the first goal in the first half.

Bryn Hawkins
