In the Final of the Moorland Cup at Shepton Mallet ground last Friday in front of another large crowd, Peasedown Albion proved too strong for Somer Valley.

Albion made it three trophies this season, winning 5–0 with goals coming from Lee Gould (2) and Man of the Match Scott Baker (2).

The League’s Registration Secretary, Gary Smart, presented the medals to the teams and officials.

This Friday it is the Final of the Clark Cup at Shepton Mallet, kick-off at 7.30 p.m. between Chew Magna Reserves and Victoria, who fell over the line in the Semi-Final, 2–1 against Meadow Rangers.

Westfield Reserves are through to the Semi-Final of the Charity Cup, the Final being played at Peasedown Albion’s ground on Saturday, 20th May, kick-off at 2 p.m. They will be playing Coleford in the Semi-Final – the other Semi is between Chew Magna Reserves and Bath Villa.
