WELTON Rovers begin their build-up to the new football season with a warm-up match at home to neighbours Paulton Rovers on Thursday, July 3 (7.30p.m.).

Other pre-season friendlies include: July 5 away v Chippenham Town B (11a.m.); 11 First team v Reserves (7p.m.); 19 away v Stockwood Wanderers (3p.m.); 21 away v Bradford Town (7.30p.m.); home v Chilcompton Sports (7.30p.m.); Aug 2 start of the season.

Others - July 9: Reserves home v Timsbury Reserves (7.30p.m.); Under 18s home v Paulton Rovers (1p.m.); Reserves v Westfield (7.30p.m.); Reserves home or away v Tunley (3p.m.).

Welton held an open training session for all teams on Saturday, June21 - it being part of the club’s plan to ‘bring a closer bond between the teams.’

The club has also completed a deal with the new main sponsors for this season LH Roofing and Building Contractors of Paulton.
