The Annual Mixed Christmas Bring and Win was held in glorious, bright sunshine for most of the round for everyone.
The draw for partners is always cause for discussion, and the pairing of Cath Levell and Piers Dalby proved to be successful, winning by two clear points on 38 from second placed Margaret Sellar and Chris Strickland, on 36 points.
This was on countback from Tina Davies (Ladies’ Captain) and Glyn Hallett (Seniors’ Captain). Pairs were playing off 3/8 combined handicap which didn’t give them very many shots to play with, however, some good scores came in, considering the softer playing conditions. Everyone was pleased to win a prize, and thanks went to Tina Davies for organising the event.
