There was a close finish to the Vic South Trophy event in the Seniors’ section of Fosseway Golf Club with just one point separating the first and second teams.

In the end the trio of Nick Foxwell, Frank Reeves and Malcolm Tucker won the Winter Bowmaker with a total of 93 stableford points. Geoff Hallett, Howard Nowell and Mike Weeks were second with 92 with Doug Lane, Bill Lester and Allen Cheney a further four points back on 88.

Mike Ricketts took the honours in the October medal with a nett score of 61. Tucker and Brian Fear were both two shots behind with 63 with Tucker claiming second place on countback.
