Farrington Park’s Ladies held an individual non-qualifying Stableford last Thursday, but there was an added twist at the end.

Known as “Blind Date,” everyone’s name went into a hat, and the names were drawn at random and matched with another player to make a total score.

There were two 2 spot birdies, Hayley Bullock and Carol Jones, both on the eighth hole. Lena Warren had a birdie 4 on the par 5 18th.

Lena was matched with Gail Proctor and their total score of 59 points was good enough for third place, one point ahead of Margaret Seery and Jane Waller.

Second place went to June Symonds and Jenny Howarth with 60 points.

However, the winners with a great matched score of 67 were Corinne Durbin and Pauline Young.
