Rain ruined the December medal competition in the Seniors’ section of Fosseway Golf Club, but after a late start it was decided to play just twelve holes. In the end, there was a familiar look to the winners’ rostrum.

The Turkey Trot champions, Vice-Captain, Martyn Cuer, and treasurer, Geoff Hallett, again led the field, with Cuer coming out on top. In third place was Allen Cheney.

In the Winter League, two of the quarter-finals have been set up with Mike Ricketts facing Cyril Blacker, and Competition Secretary, Brian Phelps, meeting Malcolm Tucker. The other quarter-finalists have yet to be decided.
