Home advantage again proved crucial when the Seniors section of Fosseway Golf Club took part in the annual Triangular competition with Shortwood Lodge and Minchinhampton.

Shortwood hosted this year’s event and won the trophy with 213 Stableford points with Minchinhampton second with 205 and Fosseway third on 189. Martyn Cuer was the top Fosseway competitor with 34 points, Allen Cheney and Pat Cray each scored 33. Cheney also won the prize for the longest drive.

Graham Edgell and John Waters were the clear winners in the Groundsman’s Trophy at the club with 38 Stableford points. Cheney and Bob Smith were second with 35 points pushing Howard Nowell and Brian Phelps into third place on countback.
